Don't really recommend the game, but I enjoy it a little and think bellwright is trash. So if you love that pile of steaming abandonware you'll enjoy this.
After Aska i Picked up Soulmask. No annoying inventory system and a lot of horizontal leveling. I then look back at Aska and think why do they always come up with that dumb system that each item takes up 1 slot in your inventory and you are full like in 2 sec and it becomes a walking simulator
just my 2ct.
I'm enjoying my first few hours, but not ready to recommend it yet. I'm a controller user, and the controls are pretty awkward with seemingly no way to remap them in-game. Specifically, there are several things that require you to hold down the L-stick while pressing a button, like LS+A. Of course, it's extremely easy to move the cursor while trying to do this, and more than once I've harvested something I didn't want to harvest.
I earned over half of the achievements in my short play time, so I'm assuming there's just not much going on yet. However, what I do see, I like.
No idea about these other games you mentioned, but now I will check them out. Aska isn't worth the $22 I paid for it YET, but I do think it will be if it keeps going at this rate.
I second that, don't listen to him.
I really am enjoying this game, it is slow, but I like that.
There's tons of stuff in it for building your village, which ultimately is what this game is about.
