ASKA

How is it gameplay and content wise? Game owners only please.
Hey, do any Aska-owners care to say how's the game? How much content is there really?
I loved Bellwright recently but was unimpressed by Pax Dei.

There's at least 20 hours of sit in one spot and build your village content. A few unique bosses/monsters.
Don't really recommend the game, but I enjoy it a little and think bellwright is trash. So if you love that pile of steaming abandonware you'll enjoy this.

Do you think Bellwright is trash because you hold a grudge from previous games they released? They put in real work into BW and are patching constantly.

I bought Aska. Played it coop. I dont think its done yet. I find the content minimal. I dont like the inventory system not stacking. Constantly no room. Annoying. But if you like that go for it

After Aska i Picked up Soulmask. No annoying inventory system and a lot of horizontal leveling. I then look back at Aska and think why do they always come up with that dumb system that each item takes up 1 slot in your inventory and you are full like in 2 sec and it becomes a walking simulator

just my 2ct.

This game is the Asset Store version of Valheim. That's how bad it is.

We played last night, had no idea until now the tiny bland island was it. I never thought maps would get MORE barren at this point. Theres absolutely nothing going on. Were over our 2 hour refund so yeah its fun to build. I doubt we'll get many hours out of the game. People comparing it to Valheim are crazy, not even close.

Content seems somewhat minimal for now but it's also been released like 1 day in EA. It looks promising, I'd keep an eye on it and see what kinda content they release before purchase I think.

Wow, the expectations are high for EA these days, it seems.

I'm enjoying my first few hours, but not ready to recommend it yet. I'm a controller user, and the controls are pretty awkward with seemingly no way to remap them in-game. Specifically, there are several things that require you to hold down the L-stick while pressing a button, like LS+A. Of course, it's extremely easy to move the cursor while trying to do this, and more than once I've harvested something I didn't want to harvest.

I earned over half of the achievements in my short play time, so I'm assuming there's just not much going on yet. However, what I do see, I like.

No idea about these other games you mentioned, but now I will check them out. Aska isn't worth the $22 I paid for it YET, but I do think it will be if it keeps going at this rate.

That's 100% false. Totally inaccurate. Do not listen to this chimp

I second that, don't listen to him.

I really am enjoying this game, it is slow, but I like that.
There's tons of stuff in it for building your village, which ultimately is what this game is about.
