Bring fish to village?
So my fisherman's hut is full of fish, but the villagers dont bring the fish back to the village (and yes I have a storage with the fish rack).
Kind of silly if I would have to run down all the time to bring the fish myself.
Tips?

The fisherman only stocks the catch in the hut. You need to build a warehouse, add the fish rack module, and assign a warehouse worker. They will run around picking everything up from each production building.

There are also modules for raw and cooked food. Your cook will access the raw food and firewood and stock the warehouse with their cuisine.

I tried it, and it doesn't work. I managed to set up hunter marker nearby so that the fish on the ground get processed by the hunters. But despite having a villager permanently assigned to the warehouse, and despite having the fish rack built in said warehouse, I cannot get anyone to transfer the fish closer to the base and/or turn them into fish meat. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

You can assign someone to the cookhouse or barbeque and they will process the stuff for you.
for fish meat you have to have a man on the BBQ he will gut clean and cook that shiz all day same for the meat just set the task and how much you want processed :steamsalty::2016watermelon:

How far is your fishing pier from your base? I am wondering if there is either a distance limit on the warehouse worker, or they prioritize stocking closer items based on distance from warehouse.

there seems to be no distance limit, however the time progresses way too fast and with all NPCs abandonding their work every few minutes, they just get confused.

Basicaly, what I found out, you need a storage and some NPC assigned to it, and this villager will run around the village and to "distant processing plants" to gather stuff. However, since all your other villagers keep dropping stuff, your storage worker just does not have time for it.

The default worker schedule is: Sleep Break Work Break ... repeat. An hour in this game passes within 1 RL minute (which is ridiculous btw... hint hint devs), the NPCs drop everything and abandon their work twice per day. When they return to work, they do not finish what they were doing, but the script just checks what they could do next. My advice, change the work schedule to something more "RL" like... something like sleep 6h - work 14h - break 4h. Very often you will find stuff halfway between various places, like the storage worker brings fish, but its break time, so he drops the fish, and when he returns to work, he will run to the other side of the map to gather iron, and before you know it, the fish spoils. Also, storage workers tend to move stuff from processing places (like woodcutter) to storage. So when you put something in there, you worker will waste time taking it and bringing it to the storage.
