Bought, installed, started, exited and requested refund.
I played the demo then I watched streamers play a few hours after release. The only thing I was worried about was the decay from watching. I remembered how grindy it was to get build materials to begin with. I knew solo play would become worse and worse on upkeep as you built more buildings. But someone in the streamer chat said you can turn off decay. They must have just assumed it since I logged on, couldn't see any setting on decay. Started a character and once the game loaded on the second try, couldn't find a decay off setting. Searched discussions and found many complaints about decay with one person selling mods. Quickly uninstalled and asked for a refund.

My issue is that I played the demo for 6 hours. It had a lot of tips but nothing about decay. So did they add decay between the demo and the release? Did they just have decay turned off? Decay makes sense in MMO games because you have to clear out idle accounts between server resets. But should ALWAYS be optional in single player mode. *end rant*

The decay isn't that bad... It's also reasonable to assume that a shack made of twigs might wear down after a few storms. A well stocked village and builders will repair anything without any help from you.

Here is the deal. Everyone's definition of "bad" is going to be different. But everyone will also have at least two hours of game play before they find out if it's too much for them. Which means too late for a refund.

Actually, good sir, a shack made of twigs doesn't wear down after any amount of storm. You have not been touching grass.

Quick tip. If you build the related buildings (Carpenter's Hut/Wood, etc), and the items get stored there, they do not decay. Only when carried on your person. Food "may" decay at a slower rate in it's storage. Need to confirm.
