Farming...

So, in the beginning I have tons of seeds. After starting farming, they are gone and the stuff in the world does not regrow fast enough for new seeds.
What is actualy the point in farming in ASKA? The whole point of agriculture is that you keep a portion of your harvest as seed for the next season. Why not in ASKA? Hope thats just an EA oversight.

I've only farmed Flax so I cant speak for the other crop types but every harvest I get equal amounts of fiber and seeds so it can be infinitely replanted. Is that not how the other crops work?

Yeah with my farms I ended up with more seeds than I started with. Perhaps your seeds are in a different location? The new seeds end up in the farm, not the gatherer.

Farmed beets and also got equal amount of seeds for that

Which means, when you farm, you get the produce and some seeds, so you can go on farming?

In turn, when it did not happen to me, its a "bug" which is most likely related to EA?

Do you have those big rabbit like things running around near your settlement? I think they steal seeds and dump other items out of your storage boxes, i noticed something like that in my game before i started a farm, I had a seed storage in my warehouse kept seeing them coming to it and later when I went to put some seeds from the gathers hut in it it was empty and some other items where on the ground from the other storage boxes

That'd be my guess. OR its Smolkrs stealing your stuff like the comment by DarthSaturn mentions.

The farm house has an extra storage to also hold seeds. Might be all your seeds are there?

I actually hope they put in another use for seeds, coz I'm accumulating a lot of them.

Turns out to be some sort of bug, after restarting the game, I am also "swimming" in seeds.

But fertilizer also increases the amount of harvest you get. I have no idea about the rates.
