Like, if you ever played harvest moon you also played stardew valley or sun haven.
some similarities will always be there, but this game supposedly offers smart NPCs, whatever that means
so like all games thats been released
I just realized that this game is 1 square kilometer x 1 square kilometer, one biom, randomly generated tiny island. It took me 10 minutes to explore the whole map.
Animals:
- deer, bear, wolf, rabbit
Monsters:
- skeleton, zombie (wight), tiny grey wooden something, tiny red wooden something, big wooden something with a bow, some jumping alien humanoid.
Kelvin from the Sons of the Forest will gather resources for the players while theyre out doing things, though kelvin is kinda special needs so we'll only give him half a point.
Like i said this games doing nothing new that other survival games haven't already done. they don't have the golden goose of a game they think they do.
Why do you play shooters like Call of Duty, Battlefield, Halo, Counter Strike, Doom and some other, when you could have played only Counter Strike Source or Quake 1 because all other are generic shooter no. 754 with just a different coat of paint ?
Did you really just call a survival game with colony sim a generic survival game?
Aight lets do a homework.
Give me the ratio of survival games that has some hint of settlement management vs those which dont have em.
Blud really thinks creating a colony sim + survival game is generic.
