removing boulder/outlier rocks
is there a way to remove those "pesky" boulders? or planned that we can remove them later? after all, I can remove rocks with a pickaxe, but not those boulders that are, often enough, smaler then rocks. I wouldnt even mind if they had 1000hp to get destroyed and would give no ressource, just want to get rid of them.

Please remove them entirely or make them minable, they're very annoying.

From the interesting facts I discovered in the game, this may be due to a bug.
Rocks with water can be destroyed with a hoe.
The rocks that are described in the thread can somehow be "avoided". If there is some land next to the rock that is higher, then if possible we can build a farmer's hut. We level the ground with a hoe, cancel the construction and continue building the hut. Thanks to this, we cover the rock with earth, leveling it. This works best with the farmer's hut, it can be placed in quite unusual places.

Think it should be solved differently.

Rain gatherers are the best tool to hacking the over-large boundaries of the indestructible items, in my opinion. They are only 2 blocks but you can cover almost anything if you work at it. Basically place with as much overlap as you can, level the 2 tiles, then cancel construction. Rinse and repeat.

We ended up just flattening the terrain as much as possible around them and just placing gardens around it. This works for hiding some of the terrain rocks.

I second this. I mean, I get that they add terrain texture. But they're always in the way, and there is absolutely nothing that can be done about them. Nothing but nuisance.

you guys should really, really really iether fix a way to deal with them ingame, i agree with everyone else here, they really can mess up village planning. some are like perfectly placed next to a willow and can add texture to the village itself, but some are just in the way, same goes with the larger rocks with many small rocks arround it.

Yeah I agree with everyone else. I have a huge boulder in my village, and I've turned it into a cosmetic boon visually, but it should be up to the player how they want to handle aesthetics. Removing for resources or adding for cosmetic effect would be nice.
I tend to minimize the impact of the boulders and what not by picking high ground as the initial site of my village, and then filling earth over the majority of the permanent stones. Their bounding box is 3d and if you can get dirt over the top of them you can build over them.
For the record this takes a lot of time and a lot of wooden hoes, especially when you're first starting.
This also tends to make your villages look less aesthetic if that's what you're going for. Mine typically look more like fortresses when I'm done, although earth walls are a lot cheaper than wooden walls in terms of resources, and they're indestructible. My only weak points are my gates, generally.
Count my vote in with this as well. I posted some time ago about the floating indestructible rocks. Sadly no progress on getting rid of these things.
