Because this is what the devs want, so you want 5, then someone wants 6, someone wants 7 then so on and so on, the devs said they want this to be a small coop game, not a large group game or an mmo as some other people in these forums have asked for, im sorry someone will miss out but its just the game the devs wanted to make

Hey I can answer this - at the moment its to do with optimisation and we're not willing to add more at the moment as it isn't as stable!

Well, I'd say BETTER make it a soft cap instead of a hard cap.

Game looks amazing but not buying it till there's a dedicated server option at the very least. Co op survival/colony worlds sorely need the ability to play in a persistent world where not every one has to be on at the same time to progress. Too many competitors out there that do offer it.
