Go to options > Keyboard and mouse rebind > scroll down to "Movement" > You'll see the keybinding for each direction key
Just for noting, there is a bug with this. When you go in to ground leveling mode for a new structure with non standard movement keys (eg. ESDF instead of WASD), the display defaults to Q/E for rotation, and you can no longer move. For larger structures, you can no longer level the entire area and have to dismantle. Pretty much can't build early pits etc.
I just picked this up on Steam sale and ran in to this issue immediately. Will put the game on hold for a bit until they hopefully fix hard coded keybinds. This is sadly becoming a far more common issue with games lately. Never had problems like even 10 years ago remapping games to ESDF.
Yes. They added the ability for you to remap movement as requested, but some things are still hard coded, causing some problems. Mostly in menus, sometimes the controls go back to wasd for movement through menus. If you run over a piece of gear in the environment, equip is hard coded to E. It's getting there, but not quite all the way there yet. It's playable as ESDF right now though.
Thanks!
