Stuck on 8-30

Any tips for getting past 8-30? I have been stuck there for 7 weeks at least

You might get more responses if you post a screenshot of the fight you're stuck on. AFAIK there's no way for people who are already past that fight to go back and look at it.

What Verdant said. But this game is fairly easy to get a grasp on. You probably have already tried a bunch of different combinations with your girls. So this is my response to you.

That's going to be fairly normal now as you continue through the Story Missions. Right now you should be stockpiling all of your resources and not spending anything. Right now, you're waiting for a Legendary Event to happen that has the girls that you want. For example, Succubus-es, Mermaids, etc. And dumping all of your gems into the event to rank up those specific girls you want. Getting that specific Event to come along will take months and months. So, don't be looking for quick results. When the event does come along though, depending on how long you had to wait / when you started saving all of your resources, you can have anywhere between a couple thousand gems saved up, to 30k+ saved up. Not by spending any money btw. Just doing your dailies everyday.

I'm in the same boat as you. I am not progressing my current Story Mission until I get my Legendary Event. It's gonna be awhile.

I'm a free player, and I go long periods of time between advances in story mode, but the only time I've ever gone 7 weeks without an advance was the time they released a huge nerf to the player side and then waited 2 months before rebalancing story mode to compensate.

You want to spend your resources at the most efficient times, but you ALSO want to level up your income streams as soon as possible to increase the rate at which you collect resources. For example, increasing your arena rank, completing more levels per challenge, and upgrading your idle income from story mode. Spending gems earlier can be very much worth it if it levels up your income streams.

I think it took me around 3 months to reach the point where I was reliably earning >9k gems per month.

(Of course, this also depends on how much you play. I log in several times per day to collect everything. Many people are probably not in a position to do that.)

Pretty sure you want to spend gems earlier on to help with your income. He's not early on though, so he doesn't have to worry about that. All about saving gems now and using them on Legendary Events. Waste of gems to buy more of a resource you already have plenty of.

And I've gone back and forth between being limited by rank and being limited by level. Silver is sometimes more important than gems.

If you're talking about waiting a few weeks for the next legendary event, then sure, it's quite possible it's worth waiting for that.

If you're talking about waiting 3-6 months for your favorite legendary to roll around, that seems hard to justify unless you're full-clearing every challenge.

Oh there's no favorite lol. Mermaid Legendary Event. Mermaids are beyond broken. Saving 3 - 6+ months worth of gems for that event is super easy to justify. Ask yourself, would you rather go against a Mermaid team, or literally any other team? I'm taking the "any other team" 10/10 times. Why waste gems on unlocking / ranking up other girls for another team that I already know is worse than the Mermaids? But of course, play how you want. To each their own.

You know the mermaids recently got a huge power boost, probably due to a bug? Their current power level isn't normal and I don't expect it to last long.
