Wool Weed and Fishing in Gloaming?

So i cant fish in the gloaming and have never found any wild flowers or anything growing in the gloaming. im in winter. what am i missing?

In gloaming area number 2 you should see a purple plant on the ground you can pick up. A little ways past that once you cross the lily pads you can fish in the river.

the only thing i see it the part where there is 3 planting spots, 1 spot to plant the magic bean, and a single fairy circle. i already did the quest to get the death mushroom for winter time. but i dont have access to anything else

That's area #1. In winter you'll use the key you found to open area #2.

is there an event that prompts it opening? cause im already past the winter feast event. sorry, a bit frustrated. lol

how did you get it unlocked i have been in winter FOREVER
