Suggestions...
Great game! I would suggest adding in upgrade trees for trenches, so you could have different structures, like an HMG nest or a dugout (so you can dodge artillery strikes). Also, maybe a mortar infantry unit would be good as well (sort of with mid-level range, but also with a minimum range).

Those are just what I've thought of so far.

Agree to everything said in above massive post. Baron, it's an "OK" game if it were on my phone at best, but it would probably be uninstalled within a few weeks. I have absolutely no reason to have this taking up space on my hard drive, even if it is less than 200MB.

1. No Retreat button.
2. Enemy Artillery shreds. Friendly Arty misses more than 50%.
3. Think it would be interesting to have riflemen shooting over the trenches as well, perhaps with severely penalized accuracy. But the game becomes uninteresting just charging in one direction. Would be nice to have reasons to have different troops stationed in different locations. There are plenty of features that you could implement here. You have a great opportunity to make a really fun little game here, but the product you have here is extremely simplistic, and somewhat childish. I understand it is "Stickman" Trench Warfare, but just visually I think it could be geared to a more adult audience. Like the WARFARE 1917 online flash game that we all loved growing up! Blood effects? Terrain damage?

I hope you take this post as constructive criticism, because I have watched your Youtube channel quite a few times over the years, and wish you success. I know for a fact, though, that you have much more experience in gaming, in general, and could probably evolve this game into something far more interesting, potentially deep, and infinitely replayable.

Maybe take some cues from games like Ultimate Generals Civil War/Gettysburg. Mechanically, it seems simple, but when you really experience it, you can feel the depth. You can feel the effects of every upgrade. You can feel the difference between conscript troops and elite regular infantry. You can feel the effects of taking cover in fortifications. There are so many potential ideas for this game as it is really just the bare minimum to be called that, at least from this demo.

Hey, maybe since this is "Stickman" Trench Warfare, you could totally change the scale, and have hundreds, if not THOUSANDS, of little Stickmen occupying vast trenches. I think that would make the game 100x better right off the bat, and then begin adding depth and realism features. Real gameplay mechanics.

Oh man...it would be so neat to have so many things. Make the whole game a persistent world war I simulator? Have different maps for the different campaigns, and begin to flesh the whole project out entirely? The possibilities are endless, but in its current state it is just a simple phone game that has no place on a PC.

I hope you read these posts and really think about what you're doing. Are you making a game for 5 year olds that are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with their parents' cell phone? Or are you making something for the Steam and PC gaming community? I hope you think about the opportunity you have to make something really great that could potentially be played for ages to come by thousands and thousands of people.
