Great but will you fix the bug with the Starshield Captain boots once for all or not ? It's a bug known for two years. Because i had to restart my entire playtrough losing 10 hours in the process thanks to this. Not a good experience.

HELP

Hi, I really love this game but I am experiencing a major issue that is just preventing me from playing. At the start of the game right when Dr. Nefarious appears and you have to ride some cables (at this point I crash even on them), which after plays a transition from the animation of almost falling off the thing, Ratchet stands up on a platform and that's it. It crashes or rather hard freezes my system. Some time before, in between the updates, the crash now appeared with an error which read something like DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG/REMOVED. I cannot open Task Bar and the system is just unresponsive, so I have to restart it from holding the power button.

I run on RX 7900 XTX and found out that the game has issues with this GPU or vice versa, so anyway, I forcefully updated AMD drivers to 23.10.23.03, turned OFF the Upscale Method and Dynamic Resolution Scaling, settings to medium (but I don't think settings even matter) and even installed a new update for the game that came out at the time which also could have been the solution to all my problems, but no. I should say that at some point it proceeded ahead from that animation to gameplay and I played the rest of the game, until I softlocked myself on Blizar Prime... I am heartbroken because I love this game but it is basically unplayable for me, please help.

Use the latest AMD Driver ---> Adrenalin Software 23.9.1
Please, use DDU to uninstall the previous driver...the game will work fine (hopefully) on this patch. I saw some glitches during portal sequences now disappear with this patch.

Damn, I beat this a little while ago, but had terrible FPS drops on my 3070 when firing bullets into metal surfaces. I just sucked it up in the end. Glad to see this was finally addressed though.

And all I wanted them to fix was the janky audio. I'm trying to run it in 7.1 but the weapon sound effects only come from the surround speakers so they sound puny. Such a weird bug.

There might be a bug where i enter the arcade area and there is no music in the jukebox when i click on it. no music at all even when my audio is max ingame, i can still hear everything else but the jukebox dancemusic audio, iv tried restarting and other but it still doesnt show or hear sound, could it be bug?

really struggling to get a stable framerate on a 3070 laptop gpu even on low, not sure what is causing this

THANK YOU!! I was finally able to get the Zurkie's spybot after this patch, no more crashing!!!!!!

Still not working on 4090 + 5800X3D at 120fps DLSSQ + FG + Reflex Vsynced everything maxed out experience. Massive stutters with Vsync on, whereas the game runs much higher than 120fps Vsync Off (130-180fps).

Also, audio is still a total mess, volume balance is all over the place. Dualsense support a mess as well, the character moves very strangely diagonally (no other game exhibits this bug).

Needs plenty more patching and bug fixes and just generally there's this sloppy feeling to the whole game.

Maybe I'll give it a shot after one more round of a large patch, but still won't finish this, and at this stage I already forgot the story in 6 weeks so maybe I'll just play the whole thing from the beginning (will be a drag doing all those side quests again.)

Still pissed off I bought this at launch and I wish Steam didn't have that refund policy of 2hrs. I really didn't enjoy the game due to the janky performance but still forced myself to play it because I paid a full price.

What a horrible experience, really got let down. And am a huge fan of the series and Nixxes previous work.

It does not say FSR 2.2 in the settings. Is this a bug?

I have to admit, audio balance is all over the place. I thought it's only on my side, but some voice lines from side characters during cutscenes and during normal gameplay are very quiet. I can barely make out what people are saying. I play on good quality headphones, I initially set up the game to run on headphones, but then I checked every single other option to see if there is any difference.

Hope it run great on RX 7900 XTX at 8K max settings+RT max, FSR Ultra Performance after patching.

Bring more Ratchet games to PC

Now please fix the haptic feedback so it works properly like it does on PS5. Thanks.
