Monday most likely, they work for one week and then release it in the beggining
Baldur's Gate 3 looks crazy good and has huge levels. With crisp "ultra" textures and everything maxed out it uses 4-5 GB VRAM at 2560 x 1600 with DLAA - and it runs beautifully!
Many other devs and port factories are just an embarrassment. And then there's actual consumers defending such low effort trash software... sheesh.
Rift Apart is just another trash port.
People said the same about 8 GB VRAM for the trash TLOU port. But then the devs "magically" fixed the game and it suddenly worked just fine with good looking textures on an 8 GB card. Imagine if they'd just finished the game before selling it...
So tired of the basement dwellers yelling "8 gB iS n0T en0ugH".
You are probably have a low end pc.
No stuters or low performance on my side.
8Gb is borderline for today standard games. Even consoles have at least 8Gb.
Don't know where you got the info that 2-4 is low. Its unplayable with that amount.
agreed it's almost a month and we're waiting on a patch to remove what is only a soft lock preventing us from using a feature that's supposed to be part of the game.
The port was supposed to be finished when it was released.
People are on low spec PCs and screaming after patches which simply aren't coming. No patch can fix the hardware side. On a good PC this game runs perfect, no issues.
LMAO... just STFU with that. It's entirely an engineering issue. Trash effort engineering.
The massive, open levels in Bladur's Gate 3 run perfectly at 2560 x 1600 / 60 fps with DLAA. Crisp ultra textures and otherwise max settings, using a mere 4-5 GB VRAM.
This trash port of Rancid & Stank will drop frames simply shooting certain guns at nothingness.
RTX 3070 Ti / 5900X / 32 GB DDR4-3200
There's a vast gap in quality between games properly developed for PC and dumpster-fire quick-ports like this one. It just dropped as an unfinished beta for players to beta test. Currently completely unoptimized for PC hardware.
Throwing €2000 GPUs at the issue doesn't make the port good.
There will be more patches and they will fix issues. Just like TLOU.
Sony is not worth supporting at launch though. Their games ship broken and unfinished.
Wow don't be so angry, ain't good for your heart pal. The game runs well, it's the GPU that lacks VRAM, it has been proven. 8GB is lower than in the PS5, there is that.
my man said Rancid & Stank lmfao
I was hoping for it, apparently not
