I gotta say most of the weapons in this game are pretty boring
They do the job, but they're just plain boring compared to the PS2 series of weapons. The only one that seem to stand out to me is the one where you have to time your presses to get more damage done, but that's kinda really it and I know there's some returning old weapons like the Agents of Doom except they don't have guns on them this time around with upgrading. Which brings me to say that upgrading in this game... feels like nothing changes about them since you have to add mods, sucks since they mastered the mods for weapons in Deadlocked with Alpha and Omega mods.

The raritanium upgrading is weird because it's basically locking away some features that older games would just give to you when leveling guns (more so than Tools of Destruction did) and I gave up on maxing most of them towards the end of "challenge mode".

I also wasn't a fan of how many weapons allow you to shut down enemy AI and deal more damage with your other miscellaneous weapons. I'd always be going back to the Topiary Sprinkler and Cold Snap while also using Mr. Fungi/Agents of Doom as distractions for anyone not frozen up. Any challenge immediately dissolves as you shoot with whatever afterwards. Eventually I got so tired of the game I turned on the infinite health/ammo options and used Cold Front and RYNO to ignore every encounter.
