alt fire mode on XBOX controller

apparently there are alt fire modes depending on how far you hold the trigger down in the PS5 version is there a way to replicate this on XBOX controller or will i have to get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PS5 controller?

I played the first half of the game with an Xbox Controller and recently got a PS5 controller and tested it out to see the difference. It's really not that big a deal, you can use left trigger to simulate most of the adaptive trigger stuff. It feels like cooler on PS5, like you are really looking on and then firing a rocket, but it's not a 100% need. You'll be fine with the xbox controller
