GPU usage 100%

hi, i use to run the game super smooth, i did not change anything on my pc, same GPU driver... but now i can barely have 30 FPS on 3840x2160 with a 3070
the Gpu usage is 100% even in Very low setting, GPU low wattage is like 90 120w ??!
What happen to this game ?
Some one have a fix ?

I have 3080 10GB and basically every game I play max settings have 100% GPU usage, I don´t see any problem to play like that. About FPS, any ray-tracing setting is feasting on my FPS in this game so I´ve decided to disable it, maybe check settings to turn this off. Also have QHD and 13900K.

100% usage even in Very low is not normal....
and of course i turned it off RT
i don't understand, every games runs well, spider man remastered too 4k 60 fps average, but this game , in Very low, its terrible.

I don´t know then. It´s bad port for some people and poor optimization. However mine works.
I don´t understand that you have RTX 30 but CPU 4th gen ? If it´s true, I have no words, that´s terrible combo.
Not familiar with 4K. I prefer higher FPS and best GPUs are still not much ready to play latest AAA games on highest settings and high FPS.
A lot of people fix crashes and stutters by disabling nvidia reflex, deleting direct storage dll in this game, have you tried ?

4790k is not that bad, Red dead redemption 4k i have 70 fps 1080p 100 fps and my gpu work at 90 95% so the bottleneck is not that bad..
and no, i didnt deleted direct storage.
i found the problem, it was a ram problem, my mother board is old and my ram slot is defective i think, some time my pc doesnt boot with 3 ram, and some time it does.

(Mémoire : Ddr3 G.Skill Ripjaws X Series - 8Go ( 2x 4 Go ) - 1600 Mhz - CL9
+8 Go Kingston 1600 Mhz

Ram are very capricious now the game run better, but i will change my pc soon i think, for a 14700k

Sorry I know something about hardware and to pair 4th gen with RTX 30 is stupid. Also nobody would tell you to install 3 ram slots and neither two very different RAM. Doesn´t matter what is your fps or which stats like usage you have. To have rig like yours makes no sense, anyone will tell you :)

GPU usage is meant to be at 100%

Not in very low 1080p but like i said, now its fix, i have 48 fps in 4k high average instead of 22

i didnt want to spend 1200€ on a new config dude, i'm not rich, 3070 in 2020 was at 560€
i took my chance, that's it , i will buy a new pc dont worry, but for now i have decent perf , i dont need more than 144 fps on apex legends, and i can still run every games AAA even with a DDR3 config :)

like i said 4790k in 2024 is still decent.

When you are GPU limited the GPU *should* be at 99-100% utilisation. This is normal and expected.

3070 doesnt have sufficient VRAM for this game and the 4790k is a 10 year old CPU.

I used to have a 4790k in my system 3 builds ago. It's time to upgrade if you want to keep up. Why anyone wants to game in 4k on a 3070 is beyond me. I made the same mistake and it punishes your framerate heavily, purely because the GPU is VRAM limited.

I replaced my 3070 2 weeks ago with a new GPU with more VRAM because I was sick of modern games running badly on it.

62 fps in 4k with dlss quality is good, and why would i play this game 1080p , it so blurry ?

I think getting a latest i3 will even solve your problem....that CPU is ANCIENT
