Black Screen Issue Solution

Since i also had the infamous black screen issue which would basically prevent me from loading up my savegame i tried out all kinds of solutions i could find on the web. None of them really seemed to work.

Here is what worked for me and the best part about it is that you don need to play in windowed mode, deactivate frame gen or visually butcher your eyes by turning of some of the features that make the game actually look amazing.

1. Start the game.
2. Don`t load up your Profile yet. Instead choose one of the empty spaces beneath and
create a new one.
3. Start a new Campaign. (difficulty doesn`t matter)
4. As soon as the Campaign started you can leave and go back to the main menu.
5. Choose your desired savegame profile and load it up.
6. Continue.
7. Enjoy
