Is this game a sequel from into the nexus and the future series?
I haven't played a ratchet & clank game since a crack in time, but this game looks more in line with the (dissapointing to me) reboot of 2016 just looking at ratchet's tone and design. But I am seeing some forums online saying this is actually a continuation from the future saga.

Someone could explain to me what is the truth without spoiling? thanks :p2cube:

Into The Nexus continues after A Crack in Time. I recommend you play it, as the events from that game seem to be linked to what happens in Rift Apart. It's a rather short game, like Quest For Booty though.

I was also confused about this, but 2016 was not a reboot, but a one off game based on the movie.

In my case I didn't play quest for booty, I discovered that was a thing years later, same with into the nexus, hopefully they will make a ratchet and clank collection 2.0 at some point

Quest For Booty is a bit tricky to get. It was digital-only here in the Americas and I'm not sure if it's still available through the PSN. I managed to get an Australian/Chinese region hard copy back in 2008 and still have it. While the game is not necessary to play, it ties in between Tools of Destruction and A Crack in Time as Ratchet is still looking for Clank.

As far as I know yes but it doesn't feel like it. Its not like Quest for booty or Crack in time where it is very clearly connected
