It's weird how "mascot" games existed perfectly fine for decades, but now strange people freak out about "ew, furries!"

I'm not quite sure about that. I think furries were treated much worse two decades ago despite games with "mascot" or Funny Animal characters being a little more frequent then.

But yeah, some terminally online people these days have developed this dumbass mentality where they cringe at the sight of harmless anthropomorphic animal characters.

I tolerate R&C because its a series from another era.
