definetly even at very low settings on my intel iris xe igpu it looks really good. although it looks a lot better when I put the graphics quality slider to max in intel graphics control panel which for some strange reason improves performance probably because it forces the gpu to use higher clocks.

Agreed. Best looking game of 2023.

This game is one of the better looking games for PC this year, that's for sure. As it was for PS5 back in 2021. Cudos for Insomniac Games for porting it to the PC quite flawless. The added resolution and uncapped framerate, besides the extended raytracing options, add so much to the fidelity of this game.

I own both the PS5 and PC version, but my favorite is the PC version. The PS5 controller is fully supported, too.

Definitely. The game is truly a feast for the eyes

"Flawless" as in hard crashes and unplayable for thousands?

Flawless for you maybe.

It's a port of a 2021 console game. A damn good looking one at that. PC games should have been looking better for quite a while.

Performance issues aside, this is indeed the best looking game I played in a long time. Beats Cyberpunk every day of the year. Super sharp textures, no mismatched assets, incredibly detailed models and overall graphical consistency. This last point, consistency, makes it look so good. Truly an interactive movie.

Trump voice "Wrong."

Have you not played:
-The Callisto Protocol
-God of War
-Metro Exodus
-Hitman 3
-A Plage Tale: Requim
-Ghost of Tsushima

While this game looks great, these all beat it.

Hard to say as different art styles and beauty may be in the eye of the beholder and all. I'm crazy about Cyberpunk RT though. Inconsistent indeed but sometimes breathtaking.

no, as many textures are not very highres

I suggest you get a better PC. Just saying.

I fit right between the "High" and "Amazing Ray-tracing."
R5 5600x
RTX 4060 Ti 8GB
32 GB DDR4 3200

According to Nixxes I should be having a great time. They fixed the crashing but the performance on some planets is still unplayable - below 40fps with DLSS+FG.

definitely yes
it has excellent art style and excelling lighting and cutting edge features while most of the competition are all spamming stuttery ue4/5 with forgettable art style

Truly this game looks like a next gen game the graphics are insane , sadly I'm suffering drops and stuttering for some reason i hope they fix it very soon :(

yeah id recommend downgrading to 1808. it performs a lot better but people were complaining as of that update too. there seems to be a performance regression from 1808 onward which got worse in 1815. but its fairly minor in 1808.

if you have an intel processor use throttlestop to turn off speedstep and c1e. if you can double your ram for example from 8 x 2 16gb to 16gb x 2 to 32 gigabytes that will probably be helpful. something changed in the way they clear ram. if you had a low pagefile and were running the game with a decent amount of ram and discrete graphics. the game runs out of ram overtime. so if you don't have a large pagefile the game has no way of clearing out excess ram. a recommended 18000 minimum 18000 maximum pagefile is recommended. if you have discrete graphics you only need a minimum 16000 maximum 16000 pagefile possibly less but you still need a buffer for clearing out excess ram usage. how large that buffer is depends on personal preference. id also recommend downgrading to 1808 since the problem isn't quite as bad in 1808. they really should let people downgrade to whatever version of the game they would like to use. insominiac games already mastered the requirements for the minimum spec back in 1728. but they still haven't optimized for the max spec and they did a lot of work just to get the max spec ray tracing to even exist on amd so I can see how that'd be stressful. they should probably wait to release more patches. but ideally it would be nice to be able to downgrade to whatever version we'd like to use. because 1728 was perfect. if you have a low spec graphics card there isn't a better update. still people with high end graphics cards expecting to run the game with a really old processor will be probably disappointed to realize this is one of the few games that requires a fairly new processor. 11th to 13th gen.
