Ratchet & Clank won't load

I recently bought Ratchet & Clank, everything looked good and the download went by nice. I tried to open the game using a ps5 controller but the game doesn't load, it says that it's loading but it stays there for some seconds and then it returns me to steam without any message or something. I also tried doing this with a keyboard in case the controller was the problem but the exact same happens. I'm sure my laptop has all the requirements for the game and I also uninstalled it and redownloaded it to check if that was the problem but no, everything really looks fine, the game just won't open for some reason. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, any idea what I should do?

Have you antivirus that's blocking it? Do you have the correct drivers for all your hardware including the chipset driver? Have you restarted your PC? Also unplug your controller and start the game in normal Steam mode first.

Post specs of your PC.

I did check my antivirus and it isn't blocking it, I'm pretty sure I have the correct driver and I also restarted my laptop (I forget laptop and PC ain't the same thing, sorry about that), I also tried to unplug my controller but nothing worked.
This are the specs of my lap:
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz
- 16.0 GB (15.8 GB usable)
- Windows 11 Home Single Language
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
- 497 GB SSD Available
- 64 bit

Verify integrity of the game files?
And also try clearing local download cache.
See if your laptop has Windows updates to complete as well.

make sure your running windows 22h2 22621 or greater check= winver in startmenu

you can run the game just fine in windows 10 if you recently installed it from a flash drive. its pretty difficult to be on a version of windows lower than version 22h2 because thats what you install when installing off a usb drive. but it doesn't need to be 22621. my windows version is way lower than that and ratchet and clank boots just fine. not to mention my memory bandwidth for my ram is much higher because I didn't update to 22621.

as far as a 1050 that had trouble running games when it was new. the 1050 ti still somewhat holds its weight today. that being said you really need an 8gb gpu to run this game. you may not have enough ram to run the game but seeing as you do have 16gb ram. try setting the pagefile to 22 gigabytes minimum 22 gigabytes maximum and see if it boots.

try disabling write caching on your harddrive but I think 4gb cards don't play well with this game. that being said I think this may very be a regression from 1808. you may want to post a bug report about it.

I'm also have the same issue, when I try to boot the game nothing happens

No windows pops, nothing. No errors in log files.

Sorry I just saw the message. Sadly it probably really is the pc/laptop you're using. Me and a friend bought the game using my account, and while I haven't been able to play it, he has. I'm not sure what his specs are but it's sad that the game doesn't even load in some devices

Like I said in my previous comment, it probably is the device you're using :( haven't found a way to solve it in mine
