Powerful SSD
PlayStation folks are still gonna buy marketing dirt from Sony. Lmao, I'm convinced these customers are stupid asf.

So stupid that Sony has to release a spec sheet to convince them that they've been lied to

I can understand you bought a console for games but don't you think it's just waste of money if you already know that this game is coming to pc after a year.
Thing is I didn't know they'd be coming to PC, I got it during launch period 2020. And remember before late 2021, Sony rarely ported to PC & didn't announce their plans to do so. But now that I have one, might aswell use it and play the games as soon as they drop if I'm interested.
Understandable why bought the console at launch. Imo it's just waste of money now, atleast for the experience you get. You'd be better off selling all those games+ps5 if you consider.
Also, idk if you keep up with gaming news but there was this GeForce now leak in 2021 i think, which revealed most of the ps5 games will be launching on PC. At that point, i swear you could've made more from selling the console because of lack of inventory & high demand.
I saw it all coming since Sony started publishing games on pc in 2015 i think. The reason why they kept this exclusivity bs very restricted because they wanna sell more consoles before they start porting games to pc. Now they want the same people to support their games on pc, aka poor ps5 versions of games like ff16, because i don't understand how a game like ff16 can't run on ps5 when it's already at it's lowest visuals & res hits as low as 720p. Still a theory but it makes sense why they want people to buy their games twice

So your argument is pointless here.
Show me examples of games on both PS5 and PC where the PC version loads faster if you're so confident.
Dense MF it's about implementation of direct storage on pc games. Which was always a thing on consoles.

And what's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ deal with IO, how does it help consoles so much? Even if does 10 seconds better in avg than pc with regular sata ssd, it's pointless. So as long as it's not 1 minute difference or your beloved don't offer extreme performance like 1 ms second in every game & every loading window. It's pointless, quit riding

You realy like loading times don't you? It's not like... you know... overal performance is also an important aspect?
Honestly, you're around in multiple threads making a clown of yourself... just say that you prefer ps5 and move on. You're not confincing anyone here that PS5 is by definition better than pc.
Actually pc loads higher resolution textures(native experience) with the same & less time than ps5 in game forapoken. A game which utilizes direct storage 1.1.
Even though it's just first version of DS & it barely work as intended, pc manages to outperform in loading 4k textures better than ps5 which runs game on dynamic (constantly fluctuating) res & 60fps.
PC is better even by his standards.

And for the comparison to PC market the next gen consoles were less powerful than the hardware available for PC at that time lol and now they're like potato , the only reason most PC games don't run well is because of Optimisation.
A well optimised games runs 4x better on same settings as on console.

Hmm i thought we were talking about the NVME drive speed. Also weird is that the max theoretical speed of gen 4 NVME was 7,880mb/s. Funny that. Didn't know PC had gen5 NVME drives 3 years before they came out. So strange haha.

Didn't know that about forspoken, thats cool.
I've been in an argument with this guy (the one going on about loading times constantly) before... and he is just very desperate to "prove" the ps5 is better. He send me proof... one was TLOU port (which ofcourse was one of the best pc ports ever! 'sarcasm'), and the other a 3 year-ish old comparison, this all combined with some talk about windows and ssd requierments. So maybe we should let him be in his bubble?

might be true but considering how insanely cheap the best nvme ssds on the planet currently are, it would be dumb not to buy one :D half a year ago they were twice the price. i just got a 990 pro 2TB for 130 bucks... no harm in getting one considering the current prices

What did you expect? They are ignorant folks in regard to the PC hardware ecosystem.
So when sony "invented" a NVME SSD for the PS5 they all took the bait since sony always used segate laptop HDDs since the PS3 and PS4.

They don't even realize that consoles are basically a custom made PC with a custom made OS, a PC where the only thing that you can upgrade is the storage.

SMH, you lackluster brain... There's not much game changing difference in loading on a decade old storage tech vs cancer curing ssd on ps5
Anyway pc, loads these in 1, 1.5 & less than 1 seconds (even on Gen 3 storage ). So eat your circus dirt and stfu because pc is better lmaooo https://youtu.be/TXKGTHifuFA

Who is "they"?
I own a PS5, Xbox Series X and Switch and I'm well aware that consoles are technically PCs. Even your phone is a PC. So? Why would it matter?

I will always prefer playing on consoles because I prefer the whole experience and the ecosystem. I've been gaming primarily on consoles for 30 years while also owning a PC and believe me, I would have switched to PC gaming if that's what I preferred. But I don't.
Can you have better hardware on a PC by spending more money? Sure! But to me personally that's meaningless.

No one is "stupid" or "has been lied to" only because they bought a console. Believe it or not, there are lots of people who simply prefer playing on a console over a PC for various reasons. It's as simple as that.

That's the advertised speed for expansion for ps5 which doesn't prove the actual ps5 storage is equally fast , ps5 storage is actually soldered on the board, makes sense why they don't want it to be tested. They know if any real tests are being carried out, they'll get caught for another bunch of lies. Since soldered storage is going to perform better, and it's impossible to test both(interal & recommended expansion) storage except games. So that's how they get away with putting mediocre ssd inside of that box. Remember, why ps5 didn't have expansion for almost 2 years? Even though it's the easiest upgrade option out there? . Yeahh because they didn't want their secret to be out which could've affected their ps5 sales.
BTW most of these ssds don't perform equal to their advert speed so get a clue.

The reason why they are cheap is because there's already a market for pcie gen 5 storage :p but yeah get them while you can

You can't make sense to ignorant fools like him. Guy's been licking boots since the first day of his birth.

Because tlou port was made to run horrible on pc vs ps5. all that to cater these stupid fanbois narratives and to sell more consoles (like yee our games run better on ps5 because we made worst port on pc on purpose). Jeez
