Playable with latest Xbox Wireless Controller ?
Got no clue about controllers and can't find anything on the web. But I suppose since it is playable with a PS5 controller (DualSense™ wireless controller integration) it should also work with a Xbox Wireless Controller, right? (since there is no controller support label on steam page)

xbox controllers are basically supported by default, all others are xtra. so yes, it will definitely work with it. if it supports ps5 controllers, that might be a better choice though, because of the triggers (i don't like ps controllers though).

Okay that makes sense :D
I have no preferences, haven't played on controller in years, but gonna buy one just for the nostalgia of this game you know. Was just making sure PlayStation doesn't ban their former exclusives from being played with Xbox controllers haha.
Thank you so much guys! :)

It'll work and even if it wasn' supported "out of the box" thanks to steam deck being a thing, Steam implemented in-app controller mapping making any game technically playable with any controller. From official branded ones over cheap knock-offs to the weirdest controllers you can find. No external software required, might just take a bit of time setting up on the steam interface.
With that said, don't expect the game to have xbox button prompts. On your controller you might have a button "B" but game will display a circle. Unless a mod comes out. Not a big deal tho, something you don't need as after the first hour, controls should be intuitive no matter what you use, just something to keep in mind.

Obviously yes. They know what most PC players have as a controller and that's not a dualshock 4 or a dualsense.
They have to offer basic support for xbox one/series controllers at least.

I'll probably be playing this with a dualsense for the haptics.
