Low fps, unplayable in GTX 1650 S
Hello, my setup

CPU: i5-8400 2.80GHz
RAM: 4x8GB(32 GB) DDR4-2400Mhz
GPU: GTX 1650 Super 4GB
SSD: M.2 2280 FURY 2TB

I'm running on very low preset settings and resolution of 1920x1080.
I even tried to run on 800x600 and still unplayable.

Is literally unplayable. I can't confirm exactly the frame rate but looks like bellow 10-15 fps
it even looks like a powerpoint slide.

I've checked my drivers (all up to date), installed them for CPU and GPU new.
Temperatures and gpu usage looks fine.

I think the problems are not my specifications since I can decently play games like metro exodus, resident evil 4 remake and back4blood.
Also i deleted directStorage.dll, reinstalled the game, restart the pc, change the installation to another drive(another M.2) and nothing works.

I'm missing something? I see Benchmarks running fine on computers with similar specs

Buy a better video card or refund the game.

You're surprised? Did you even check their specs recommendations?

https://imgur.com/a/JHCfQQm it's their recommendations.

Yes i see the recommendations

I didn't expect to reach 1080p 60fps with my specs. But be minimally playable. I've seen several beenchmarks where it runs fine on setups similar to mine.
Here's a example:

Isn't 1650 s much better than gtx 960?

Ignore these replies, I can play it at 30-40fps on mine, with everything on medium but textures. A 1650 Super should be able to handle this game, it's much better than a 960 or a 470. It's even slightly faster than 1060, just with lower VRAM. The problem is not lack of power, but something else.
Are you sure textures are on low?

Don't change in-game settings, change them in launcher.
Try to use medium preset and disable some stuffs like motion blur, depth of field and other useless stuff. Also disable DRS and use FSR

Yes i also tried to change settings trough launcher but no result, still getting low fps on the very low presets and all post-processing effects turning off

1650m from laptop here, i play fine in 1080p texture on medium and everything else on low. 1080p 40-55fps. so i would run a pc scan looking for malwares, or maybe its a ram or cpu related issue. i got a i7 9thgen cpu 2x8gb ram

did you make sure you turned off dlss if it was accessible. dlss may be usable on the 1650 but it would dramatically decrease fps since the hardware doesn't support it. currently looking into a glitch caused by turning write caching on and off on a drive. my fps has tanked since that happened. I ran some benchmarks on my computer and they came back the same except for dramatically reduced drive performance since write caching was off. try to run a benchmark of your hard drive on userbenchmark. ideally youd want 150 percent to 200 percent drive benchmark to run the game. also you may want to be using windows 10 version without the latest updates. ram performance on my computer was significantly reduced by the latest windows 11 update. well maybe not the latest it could have actually been the july or march update. one of those updates cripples ram performance unless you have a powerful processor running at max. I could improve my ram performance in this version of windows by setting the minimum and maximum performance state to 100. even then the performance at minimum 100 maximum 100 was significantly reduced in the latest version of windows. im currently using windows 10 running at 2.1 gigahertz and ratchet and clank was running great with write caching disabled until I left the game idling with windows in lock mode with the game running unpaused. I even turned off the internet but you could log back into the internet from the windows lock screen. still don't know what happened.
