Sadly all my money went to the PC and I'm still stuck with a 2k 60fps monitor. In battle it's a steady 60 but out in the bar it drops pretty badly.
Make sure you have the latest nVidia Game Ready Drivers, version: 536.67 or later
The issue I had was a crash to desktop without error message, but fixed that by disabling the nVidia Reflex Low Latency (to disable also turn off the DLSS frame generation). It runs just as smooth, but crash free for me.
I had issues every 10-30 mins with Reflex, and zero with it turned off. Very high to ultra settings.
Game settings are:
Resolution = 4K (3840x2160)
Ambient Occlusion = Off
Anti-Aliasing = nVidia DLAA
Display Mode = Full-screen
Dynamic Resolution Scaling = Off
Hair Quality = Very High
Texture Filtering = 16x Anisotropic
Texture Quality = Auto
Traffic Density = Very High
V-SYNC = Off
Level of Detail = Ultra
Phanton Dash Effect = On
Upscaling = Off
Ray Tracing = All set to Very High
Ray Tracing Reflections = On
RTX: Object Range = 10
Meanwhile i think, it's a 4090 specific problem. i play 4080@7700x and Scarstu Debris Field, Zurkie's bar or in the arena the framerate never drops below 60fps if i play native 1440p completely maxed out quality and fully raytraced.
Turns out reflex in this game ruins gpu utilization.
Most comments I've seen complaining about bad 4090 performance seem to be on systems with Intel CPUs.
