idk what happened, but this game is way too hard in the arena mode.
Even the first bronze level after Francois is borderline impossible.
You can not effectively avoid getting hit enough to not die before you reach 25 kills.
I consistently die at around 20 kills now.
There is no way i can avoid all hits which sometimes just hit while you evade, which even seems like a bug or smth.

User skill issue. Simple fix is lower difficulty or grind and get good at the game.

Use phantom dash a lot.
Clear one corner, then return to the centre. When seeing another rift opening - rush there, clear out the thugs and return to the centre. Simples?

One you never told us what difficulty you are playing on plus why not just lower it or grind xp for updated health and weapon upgrades.

impossible? its super easy even on the highest difficulty :D if you have a lot of health and upgraded weapons then you have no prob

It's super easy, just UPGRADE you shotgun and it will be a walk in the park.

Had no difficulty so really sounds like a user skill issue and a ego issue not being willing to turn down the difficulty.

If anything I wish the entire game was 50% harder with more enemies.

I tried it many times before succeeding when I first came accross it and ended up winning by bruteforcing health upgrades because I’m stubborn. But I’m not sure you’re meant to do that: play the game a bit more, most importantly upgrade your weapons as much as possible as Ms. Zurkon and it should be much easier. If you come back during late game you’ll notice it’s a breeze.

It's normal, it's content made to last during the second run with more developed weapons. Although finississable during the 1st by mastering all the gameplay subtleties, but nothing very insurmountable either.

Literally went in into the arena and 1shot everything without trying.
