Curious to know if you guys think this older port is worth $60
before you come at me saying i bought it and can't complain, i didn't, i played it through family sharing and beat it in one day - 100%, didn't skip cutscenes, got all the achievements, etc.
this game is NOT worth $60 for how short it is.
i'm not saying the game isn't worth playing, but it only is if you can buy it for $30-$40, $40 is pushing it imo
there are so many quality games out there with hundreds of hours of gameplay and high replay ability for far less ($30 and under) that people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and moaned about, but people feeling a bit nostalgic for this game has them licking boots ists
really hoping someone agrees it's not worth the price 'cause if you look at the bigger picture of it, that's an average worker putting in about 10 hours of work after taxes to be able to afford this game. then you can beat it in a single day, there's nothing left to do, and you're out of $60
fully aware people have to work a lot and aren't able to play the game for so many hours in a day and they can stretch it, but personally if i pay $60 for a game, i want to be able to put in as many hours as possible and have fun with it- and it's a bonus if it's co-op 'cause then you can help others or have them help you, but beating this game in under a single day and there's nothing else to go back to in it is insane
maybe if there were more challenging achievements it wouldn't be so bad but it's such an easy game too. much easier than going commando or up your arsenal, i remember playing tf out of those games for weeks on end and having good replay ability
those didn't even have achievements, but they had better tournaments, enemies, weapons, collectibles, gadgets, etc.
idk i'm sure people are gonna be on my butthole for this but i stan with it, 60 is too much for this
hence why there's someone saying this game isn't selling well on pc, i can see why lol

If it was optimised and not released unfinished then yes

The port may not be flawless but no matter what you say it's a AAA game with high polish, amazing graphics and great gameplay.
It cost millions of dollars to create such games, do you see the assets and amount of work that went into the levels details?
Now the game is short that's true but developers have to be paid for their hard work.

i thought the game came out in 2021 tho so that's no excuse tbh
but if it's a couple years old it's not worth the price, even if it did run okay
still too short to be worth so much tho

Same could be said of TLOU and TLOU2, 70 dollar games and > 10 hours long

If that crap from 2013, Last of Us, is worth 60e 10 years later, Rift Apart is for sure worth that price to

If they want to be paid create a better and more bug free product

For Last of Us yes, that game should cost 30-40e max, Rift Apart is current gen game so it make more sense to cost 60e but in reality it should cost 50e. We got a lot of console ports after 1-2 years of exclusivity for the same price as when they were released so nothing new there, but to ask 60e for 10 year old game just because you updated graphic is BS
