RT kills the CPU mostly.
Btw 10-35 fps at 1080p sounds very weird.
Even with nearly everything on minimum settings, still bad fps.
CPU is running at 43% (55 degrees)
GPU is running at 35% (64 degrees)
When settings are on minimun, 1920x1080, no raytracing.
Reinstalled game several times.
Since i don't have problems in any other game with FPS, the performance on this game has to be an issue, i guess.
It's a GPU wattage issue... they had that with the spiderman port but for some reason its here as well, not sure if they're even aware of it
this game uses tons of vram and RT + ultra textures or either wont work with your 8gb card
IF, then its a 30xx series thing. Without a framecap my card is fully utilized, regardless of resolution and quality settings
the GPU chokes and cant feed itself with enough data fast Enough = low wattage.
I play it on RTX 3070 perfectly fine on very high no ray tracing. Around 80 fps average with dips to low 60's. No stutters at all.
That is bad optimization on their end. Visuals aren't all that much. Metro looks better :D
its just that 8gb is like ... since 7 or 8 years "ok" ? cant be forever.
it runs fantastic on my 6800XT and uses 10,8gb -11,5 on 1080p everything max no RT.
allocates 12gb.
the textures in most cases are super sharp of ratchet and clank and everything looks awesome.
so not sure what you mean maybe the game struggles on your 8gb so it loads lower end textures and trys to stream others in , Hogwarts legacy behaves the same on 8gb.
No lol. To me this type of graphics are just not it. Much better looking games out there.
It's low wattage because of this port.
You're telling me 8gb vram isn't enough to run the game at 1080p low? then they lied about system req.
in any case there are benchmarks with 1660's running this better. so clearly somethings up.
Stop making ♥♥♥♥ up please, denying its an issue with the game will only hold back a patch for those have can't run the game because of it.
