Can't perform "half-pulls" on a standard Xbox One controller (i.e. no charge shot for Lightning Strike)
I'm playing with a standard Xbox controller, but I can't do stuff like the Lightning Strike's charge shot. I can only do rapid fire. No half pull functions work. Most weapons have a work around (like short vs. long press for The Executor's double vs. quad barrel function). But it sucks knowing I'm missing out on entire weapon features when they don't...

Any fixes?

You have to go to the in-game controller settings and set Adaptive Triggers to None. That will remap charge and lock-on functions to the left trigger, and the Migraine's overload function to holding the right trigger.

I literally just figured this out, after finishing my challenge mode playthrough and 100% completing the game. Hopefully it at least helps someone else.

Dude thank you so much!! I assume "aim down sights" will still be mapped to left trigger..?

Just started playing and this immediately bugged the hell out of me. Thank you so much for this info! Shame you didn't discover it for yourself untill you was basically done with the game.

The settings says it's only for vibration..............
No wonder I didn't think of disabling it. THANKS!
