Too easy even on the hardest difficulty
Even on the hardest difficulty the game is far too easy, especially if you use everything you have at your disposal. I haven't died once in my 3,5 hours of play so far.

Its an action platformer targeting a family audience. What were you expecting?

UnL1k3 go away. You're not welcome here. How dare you have any criticism. Who do you think you are? A paying customer?

That's why difficulty levels exist....

You weren't expecting Souls or Resident Evil 6 No Hope from a modern Sony game were you? Also if you think this game is too easy then you'd hate Final Fantasy 16.

Don't remember if it was the case with the earlier ones but Ratchet Gladiator if you start fresh on 5 star difficulty you'd die in one hit until you had a few health/ armor upgrades and you had to use the wrench because there was not enough ammo until much later in game.

A proper difficulty system.

I did have to bump up to max difficulty because of how easy it was (I realized this as I couldn't enjoy the Pixelizer as enemies died in one hit) and while it's still easy fighting one or two enemies some battles have thrown a lot of enemies which have made it a little more difficult.

its a cute game for kids, you wont get pissed off / frustrated because of the difficulty

How does this prevents developers from including a hardcore mode?

I actually really like the hard mode, it feels like the difficulty of the last few games, so I think it encourages younger audiences to challenge themselves and be able to say they beat a game on hard mode.

That said, I also love the easier modes too, making it more accessible to a wider player base.
(Especially those of us who are a bit less coordinated these days.. I'm old, shush!)

As much as this is a game that's always been based around platforming and linear story telling, I'd really appreciate if it verged into multiple approach territory, giving us more than one way to solve a problem.
