Playstation 4 controller and half-input controls
Some weapons differentiate between full and half input on the triggers. I can't seem to get this to work. Any tips?

Got it! Disable Steam Input and it should work just fine! I'm playing with a USB cable by the way :)

Got it working. For anyone who is having the same issue, this worked for me: PS4 Controller - Step 1) library > rift apart > gear icon > properties > steam input. Step 2) Steam > Settings > Controller > Enable Steam Input for Playstation Controllers. Step 3) Restart PC. Hope that helps

Note that the game has native support for the PS4 controller if you use a USB cable, no need for Steam Input (which is emulation). Wireless is usually a different situation, hence I just stopped trying to use that.

If you have a USB cable connected PS4 controller, the half-pressing of the shoulder buttons won't work with Steam Input (meaning you can't use precision shot for your gun, for example).

I don't know why, but I'm using a DS4 wired with Steam Input being enabled and everything, and the half trigger works for me. No setup necessary. Seems like the PC menace of "there will always be something to troubleshoot" strikes again for some people haha!
