Game doesn't allow me to continue

During the tutorial of the game since I saw it was something where you could just click and get the currency instead of following the tutorial i sent the spaceship on multiple trips and due to this when the tutorial started up again it didn't allow me to proceed in the game. It showed me a pilot that I was suppose to hire I'm assuming to make the process automatic, but it won't allow me to do so and instead I am stuck not being able to play the game.

just reinstalled it did not fix it sadly, ill update any findings

try and clear the game's cache maybe? clicking properties on the game from your steam library
