Question for Devs

Weird ass question and the detail hardly matters: but are any devs able to weigh in on the status of Olivia's mom? She's only mentioned the one time I believe and while it leans towards dead, I initially took it as she left them, if only because it was less cliche.

I assume she's either dead or VERY estranged, since they made it a point to make Olivia's dad show up in E1 (who was basically a workaholic due to his job).

Yeah, she's either in the ground or just walked out totally. I'm really thinking dead, but at this point a confirmation would be cool, as inconsequential as the detail is.
