Jumplight Odyssey

Is this the "Don't Build" Corner on Quarter Deck
I haven't had problems building here in my first couple runs, but my last two runs, I keep getting Engineers and robots stuck in this corner. :steamsad: Anyone else running into the issue or am I building too close to the wall? (yes, did submit a report just in case something is happening behind the framework)

I've had the exact same issue, though in a few different locations. Oh, and I could NOT find a fix for this one.

Yeah. I can transfer them to a new division to get the people out, but can't do that with the robot and the next engineer just gets stuck. A restart of the game (exit out to menu, exit out of game) doesn't work either. I'm going to restart my run since I just started and build away from the wall.

Often times I run into this while trying to build in the corner walls, in my case the lowest deck. I also had it in the promenade at one point in a corner right next to a big window.

Steam's giving me link copy problems, or I'm doing it wrong but you can see some screens of what I did in the lower deck in my profile under JLO. Essentially, build off of the corner, don't try to touch the walls. Although I could put a door, so go figure :)
Just looked at them, interesting use of those corners! I'll be taking notes for when I finally make it down to the lower deck to build, lol

Sometimes when that happens, I can sorta "fix" it by building a completely different room on that spot, wait for it to completely finish, then swap it back to original room. Other times still doesn't work -_-;

Think I'm gonna try making that into a washroom next time. Put a sauna in there. Should fit perfectly.

Edit: tossed up another couple of screens for a gander.

I realize too that like a few other games of this type, the corridor type tile/room makes everyone move quicker. When you can place pretty much any mood altering object in any room including corridors, sometimes you gotta get rid of them. Or go single tile route.

I do notice the crew prefers corridors as well. I'm wondering what'll happen if I have none :)
