How does rituals work?
Why bots have 100% success rate on rituals and you have like none at all? I even reloaded save many times to test it but it still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Yes, I'd like to know how they work too. I suppose they depend on the points you have on the brench the ritual belongs. There are rings and artifacts too that raise the resistence against specific type of rituals. But we need a detailed explaination.
Pretty sure it is your Rank + Skill + Artifacts + Relics + Dice Roll vs the enemy's. With the dice rolls being hidden.

It must be that way, because I had 6 vs 7 Ritual Strength prediction and was still able to overcome the ressistance of the target (vs Pandemonium) with chances being "Moderate".

So each rank gives 1 power? I main belial and want to max his deceit. If I have rank 3, deceit 5, and two artefacts that have +1 in deceit each, what will be my total deceit. And what's a die roll? And can you give any formula to calculate total deceit. And how do I calculate resistance? It's a lot of questions but please help the community.
1) Each rank of Skill gives 1 power.

2) Artifacts and Relics affect your power by a certain amount (noted on items).

Can you "overlevel" your Skill power that way? I suppose you can, since the tutorial itself literally shows Destruction "7 vs 6" and maximum amount of power you can get via Skill is 6.

3) No idea what the exact value of a hidden dice roll is.

I suspect it is 1d6 (so between 1 to 6), considering 6 vs 7 is deemed a "Moderate" chance of success by the game.

4) In the in-game Encyclopaedia "[...] superior Infernal Rank provides greater resistance to Rituals".

I am guessing that each rank of difference will be +1 resistance (although it probably doesn't affect power of Skills when casting Rituals).

5) Deceit 5 + 2x Artifacts +1 Deceit = 7 Deceit total (+ a random dice roll), assuming no Relics or other factors (such as Lilith's "Baleful Gaze" skill).

Your resistance to a Deceit Ritual could be higher, if your opponent is lower in Rank than you are (depending on difference in Rank).
Just one more info, reloading doesn't change the outcome. The outcome is seeded.
