Bug: capture cantons vendetta is auto-win?
it is almost impossible to successfully defend against a capture cantons vendetta and a bit too easy to win. I'm not entirely sure what is happening here but what I believe is going on here is that cantons that are temporarily captured during turn resolution count towards vendetta fulfillment. Even if the same canton is captured back within the same turn. If an archfiend doesn't hold the canton at the end of turn resolution it simply shouldn't count towards the vendetta. This should be a no-brainer.

Distinct but somewhat related is the some-brain semantic question of whether or not the vendetta is to win cantons or to win net cantons. What is net cantons? Net cantons = the amount of cantons gained minus the amount of cantons lost over the duration of a vendetta. Imagine a vendetta by archfiend A against archfiend B to win 3 cantons. If A has won 3 cantons from B while B has taken 5 unique different cantons from A, A has both won 3 cantons and -2 net cantons. And this doesn't address the thornier question of whether it is just 1 or 2 cantons being swapped over and over again. I'm fine with whatever conclusion people come to, but is a question worth examining and clarifying.

That is true only if you are in position to attack a Legion or a Place of Power (and someone does not mess your Order up by holding up or redirecting your Legion).

Otherwise you have to add to your calculations the Orders you need to position your Legion to kill a Legion or attack a Place of Power.

But I do agree that taking Cantons is more Order-intensive as you can only capture a single Canton per turn with a single Legion. I think you should be able to capture 2, provided you attack along your border.
