Multiplayer Weekend Min Specs & Performance
Hey Archfiends!

For the multiplayer demo currently available on Steam, the Min Specs of the game are the following:

Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5 10600
Memory: 12 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GT 1060
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 8 GB available space

These are also listed on the Store page of Steam and were updated a while ago to reflect the WIP experience of the game at this stage.

Right now, in its current form, Solium Infernum is GPU intensive. If you're experiencing issues with framerate and/or load times we recommend you adjust your in-game settings, close any other programs you have running and play it at a lower resolution. Turning off canton ownership borders can get a big uplift atm, as they're unoptimised rn.

We still have a huge amount of optimisation work planned that we're just about to tuck into, so we do expect to see these Min Specs lower for the final product and for performance to improve greatly. This is just the WIP experience and Min Spec baseline for now.

Additionally, there will be a bunch more graphical options available at launch.

Have fun in Hell!

I played the demo on my 11th gen I5 with 12 Gb RAM and Iris XE graphics. I was able to play it with the resolution turned way down, but it was still pretty slow.

Do you think the release version will be any friendlier?

Min specs is a gtx 1060? Eh, lol?

The demo runs with less than 50fps on a rtx3060!
Abysmal! Makes me sad.

Zothen, I hope your sadness passes soon. Hang in there, I know this is pretty rough but you'll get through this. Stay strong.:2016imnotcrying:

Bummer, requires Win 10, no wonder it doesn't work on a Steam Deck

Win10, i7-12700KF (OCed to 5GHz all core), 128GB 3200 DDR4, AMD 6800 XT

At 4K, the game is quite playable, but more FPS would make for smoother panning. I'm getting 25-33 FPS depending on how much is being animated. The GPU is running full out while using 9647MB (out of 16GB) VRAM (so folks with 8GB gfx cards might have some stuttering issues). It appears the game is (like many other Unity games) performance limited by a single main thread (one core is at 100%, other game-related threads are using far less CPU).
