Lost Progress

My computer turned off while playing the game earlier, a fuse tripped. When I got it reloaded and started the game it told me it had been corrupted and a backup was restored. It has restored away back to the survival dungeon needing to be started. That's SO much progress lost. My troops are back down to level 50-odd and I had them up in the 90's. What on earth is this? Why didn't it restore to my save from last night or something instead?!

I'm struggling to do that. And I did have cloud saving so I'm a bit confused.

try to froce save on the cloud every 15 or more minutes so just in case like something like this happens.

also cfroce save before you log off the game just in case too.

Something similar just happened to me too butt I lost even more progress. Had completed all but the last two research trees and a bunch of other stuff... steam cloud enabled, corrupt save detected.... and started me from square one... The files listed in the article were non-existent in the folder stated. Had just formatted my pc, data loaded properly, shut down... restarted and nothing

already tried it, since it was a fresh format and the steam cloud corrupted it, there was no file named TapNinja_backupA.data

If you do not have a save file due to formatting your storage then unfortunately I can not make your save file re-appear again.

Thats incredibly unfortunate, and understandable. Ah well it was fun while it lasted.
