Have you completely lost your mind with Update 6.0?
Okay, okay... I get it. New update, new content, new challenges, new achievements. I respect that and appreciate the work and content development for the game. I really don't have a problem with absolute hardcore achievements for the super hardcore players who play such games 24/7, but those should be in-game achievements, and so far, that's how it has been. I remember those two upgrade achievements without having any buildings. Absolutely insane and really only a challenge for the hardcore players because it's not fun—you're literally not playing the game. Those were also Steam achievements back then and, after much back and forth, they were removed, which was the right move. Ultra challenges have their place, but only as in-game challenges. That was a sensible decision back then, all fine.

Now, I look at this update and think: Have you completely lost your mind? I have 2500 hours on the clock and have killed 14 million enemies. Now I have to do that another 7 times? 7 times??? Even if I take 3 pets that have the challenge simultaneously, that's still 30 million enemies. 30 MILLION (!). With 14 million enemies killed in 2500 hours. On top of that, I'm supposed to spend 135,000 amber? Here again, with perfect distribution (which makes the playtime even more absurd), that's still 45,000 amber. I'm not even going to start on the 16 (!) pets at level 14. Even with perfect distribution, that's 760 days, and there's no way to perfectly time that with the other tasks.

...and these are just the things I can imagine because I know the game already. I don't even want to know what absurd stuff is going on with that new Conquest thing. Making such completely absurd tasks into Steam achievements again is sheer madness and one of the most player-unfriendly things I've ever seen. There's no problem keeping such hardcore tasks within the game itself, but as general Steam achievements? I "only" have to collect 700 achievements and not all 723, so why make such maximally absurd things into Steam achievements again? A few more reasonable tasks to bring people back on board and motivate them to care about the game again would have been enough, instead of almost taking the soul out of the game. I just don't get it. It deters, it demotivates, and it doesn't make me think for a second about supporting it financially.

Maybe I'm alone in this opinion, maybe business is going insanely well and the cow just needs to be milked further, okay, then I'm the fool. But this is all so over the top, I just feel incredibly sorry for all the people who have spent 2 years in the game to reach 100%, like me, only to be completely knocked out by such an update. Unbelievable, really. I truly wish you all the best, but I wouldn't be surprised if even more people quit now than already have.

He has completly lost his mind. I am 3568 hours in, and what for...

Can only hope he reverts his bad decisions,

He will never revert update 6.0. It is *highly* rare for any solo developer to revert an update of any sort, no matter how poorly received an update might be.

Conquest is lovely, but beware of walls. This game is meant to be a long slog, but again, the nerfed overflow-capacity limits are truly annoying.

The game is in the most popular state is has ever been in, I would be crazy if the update was to be reverted. Ofcourse if you are not enjoying the game anymore then this does not matter and I won't be able to convince any one otherwise. Just take a break from Tap Ninja, that's it.

That said the Amber overspent limit will be increased from 1'000 to 2'000 on the Mondays update.

Anyway, locking the tread because this is enough.
