Is blessing of the dragon just a bad version of void element?

Both seem to do similar things: raise your GpS by 2% per level. The issue is that Void Element is multiplicative (i.e. actual 2% raise every time you buy it) while blessing of the dragon is additive (ONE bonus that goes from 2% to 4% then 6% etc).

What's more, void element goes up to 3% with the T14 upgrade. So i don't see Blessing of the Dragon as worthwhile as an end-game elixir upgrade, unless i'm misunderstanding something.

Consider also the cost of each - it's a bit like the legendaries in the amber shop, at some point the cost means that you're getting less for your money (amber or elixir) than if you bought the cheaper and lower increase. Depends how efficient/skinflint you want to be though.
