This day is come :'D
Starting with the holiday event after Christmas - reduced some Holiday task rewards
Now task ask you spend 2500 amber, but your cash back is only 1575.
Yeah, it was just matter of time - when dev nerf amber rewards, but still.

Let's talk.

Before nerfs you has weeks with 2000 amber and weeks with 1800 ambers. So, nothing really new, besides general nerfs.

I use cat, because of 1000 quests for lvl8 quest board. So, I has +1 quest every week.
And about panda - it increase reward rarity, but not guarantee exact rarity and exact reward.

This game is super liberal for free amber. Honestly, we have no right to be unhappy. Just take you time, play wisely and don't try to finish the game within one week. This game is about monthers or even years. For example we need one year time for geting 50 riddle answer reaward... )))
I think you also don't undertand why I talked about this.
I don't really need all of this for myself - I already done or nearly done with game tasks/achievements/goals.

I talked about how stupid is 1000 holiday task milestone back in 2022 when it was introduced and I still think that it's cheap solution to handling auditory. Dev don't make something interesting - he just lazy set a huge count. With riddles situation is just repeats. Such insane counts don't mean that game has content for them. Game has no content for such long term things and dev do not add appropriate content, sadly.

I'm not trolling, but if the game were a week long to finish would be fine with me. Why would waiting make the game more enjoyable in this case? The choices/upgrades are relatively the same but slower to achieve.

Having an ascension/skill tree with more branches with more impact on my choices could make the game have more replay value... playing threw making different choices seeing what makes me reach the end game faster.

This is my opinion but i'm pretty sure "the game is about" making money... and that's why the game is the way it was.

I don't want to play it for years, I don't want to have to connect once every week to answer a stupid riddle that isn't even right sometimes. I already saw everything it has to offer, but it keeps asking me do those mindless tasks for a whole year.

I stopped playing, just checking if anything has changed.

Just something to bear in mind, but people who have played the game for a longer time will feel the impact of new achievements that take a long time more than new players will. Someone who's just starting to play will only need to play for a year to get both the riddle achievements and the play on different days achievements, as well as the holiday tasks and probably the quest board achievements. Someone who's already played for a year suddenly finds themselves needing to play for another year - without any real gameplay or content changes to make grinding through another year interesting. Some people will be fine with that, some won't.

Same with the holiday task rewards - some of us remember when there was no such thing, and so we're probably a bit less bothered by how much we get, because compared to when they weren't there at all, anything is a bonus. Same with the pets, the number of pet slots, and the resources to improve them. Those who started playing and have only been used to having them, can only see changes in relation to what they're used to.

I'm looking for a new semi\afk game similar to this. I'm sorry, I used to love this game but this Dev just seems to hate the players and wants the game to fail. Every change made is for the worse. Also just google the riddles, they're aren't original he just steals them.

Have you tried Idle Slayer? It's a bit more active than this, but there's a lot more content, and if you're not rushing to complete the game you can easily play it for one or two short bursts a day.

Also, if he wasn't 'stealing' the riddles (I'm pretty sure you can't copyright a riddle, but there we go) no one would be able to google the answers and there would be a lot more complaining. As far as I'm aware, he's never claimed that the riddles are or would be 'original', so as long as he doesn't pull a Bilbo Baggins with a 'What have I got in my pocket?' it's whatever.

Thank you, I'll try it now. I love more content, thats always a plus and I'm in no rush. But this Dev is just trying to just make things take longer with patches to extend the game time instead of adding content, if you ever watch his live streams he's also extremely rude to his live chat.
