Before nerfs you has weeks with 2000 amber and weeks with 1800 ambers. So, nothing really new, besides general nerfs.
I use cat, because of 1000 quests for lvl8 quest board. So, I has +1 quest every week.
And about panda - it increase reward rarity, but not guarantee exact rarity and exact reward.
I think you also don't undertand why I talked about this.
I don't really need all of this for myself - I already done or nearly done with game tasks/achievements/goals.
I talked about how stupid is 1000 holiday task milestone back in 2022 when it was introduced and I still think that it's cheap solution to handling auditory. Dev don't make something interesting - he just lazy set a huge count. With riddles situation is just repeats. Such insane counts don't mean that game has content for them. Game has no content for such long term things and dev do not add appropriate content, sadly.
I'm not trolling, but if the game were a week long to finish would be fine with me. Why would waiting make the game more enjoyable in this case? The choices/upgrades are relatively the same but slower to achieve.
Having an ascension/skill tree with more branches with more impact on my choices could make the game have more replay value... playing threw making different choices seeing what makes me reach the end game faster.
This is my opinion but i'm pretty sure "the game is about" making money... and that's why the game is the way it was.
I stopped playing, just checking if anything has changed.
Same with the holiday task rewards - some of us remember when there was no such thing, and so we're probably a bit less bothered by how much we get, because compared to when they weren't there at all, anything is a bonus. Same with the pets, the number of pet slots, and the resources to improve them. Those who started playing and have only been used to having them, can only see changes in relation to what they're used to.
Also, if he wasn't 'stealing' the riddles (I'm pretty sure you can't copyright a riddle, but there we go) no one would be able to google the answers and there would be a lot more complaining. As far as I'm aware, he's never claimed that the riddles are or would be 'original', so as long as he doesn't pull a Bilbo Baggins with a 'What have I got in my pocket?' it's whatever.
