Report a translation problem
1) VIP/cash shop barely does anything, I bought the 700 Amber pack and got VIP and all I could get was 75% coin boost, that's barely anything, the other p2w options are not worth it, just limited boosts.
2) Just make sure you wait till you have at least 50% more coins than last time each ascend and you will swiftly make progress. You should never do a reset just for a skill purchase, your entire argument is 'i want to play the game non optimally' ..? Just have patience and reset when its more logical, don't let a skill tree "force" you to ascend lol.
3) Yes you can pay $5.50 to get a faster skill tree unlock and some useless amount of Amber.. And that's a bad thing? That's such as cheap purchase and it only adds a small increase to your stats (okay, well fairly big after a few months of building up skill points I guess).
It's not really broken, and even if it is, that's a really cheap price almost everyone can afford.
4) There is only 1 tier of the cash shop, so it's not like most F2P/P2W games that has like a dozen VIP levels costing hundreds
5) I played Idle Slayer for a while, till I accidentally found out you could easily edit your save file and have quintillions of currency, then lost interest and uninstalled lol. Anyway, yeah it's similar, and? There can be only 1 FPS game? One MOBA? One Battle Royale? I find people outraged by 'copies' hilarious, the outrage only works for a few months till other copies come out, and it just becomes a genre lol. Anyway, its functionally slightly different, no jumping and uhh.. That's about it, but that's fine. I look forward to more clones such as Idle Paladin tbh.
6) Spay and neuter your pets ^_^
In Tap Ninja you can drop amber each day from enemies or you drop it from challenges. So you have unlimited amber generation and can literally buy everything if you play enought. Also game not have artifacts, so you only can put your amber in one item thats slowly raise your money/sec. And even without this items you still can progress in game easily. I just have 200+ achievements in 4 days from start playing. In idle slayer even one run can take whole day if you try to reach next upgrade in ascend tree, because only one way to generate souls is killing enemies. You cant just idle whole way like in Tap ninja, you should actively playing game whole day or you cant progress. In tap ninja you can idle some time then reset, take one upgrade from tree, then idle some time, take another upgrade and you literally should actively playing only when pushing. I do it maybe once per day. Finished half of tree already without problems.
actually there was some way to get the premium currency in idle slayer. I don't remember how but it had to do with ascension or something... maybe even the daily bonus by some flying thing. This way you can save up all bonus on PC.
The game is HEAVILY "inspired" by Idle Slayer down to the UI layout. I don't know that it's quite a ripoff though, but close. It's actually missing a lot of the features that gave Idle Slayer some gameplay variability -- jump-firing, dimension switching, the platforming mini-game, a branching, non-linear upgrade tree, second-tier prestiging, the village.
The Dev has posted a roadmap of features he intends to roll out over the next year. They might add enough depth to make the game interesting enough for me to pick it back up.
well on computer I have the chance to earn like 3 premium currency through something... I think you can actually craft something? Maybe it's exclusive to PC because you purchased the game^^
The too active part was defo not directed too you but the p2w was, you absolutely do not need VIP whatsoever. And idd you can wait for an ascend to get more bonus %income or just ascend to get an upgrade. Been playing for couple hours active and most hours autoclicker inactive (overnighting isn't worth it tho) and I have progressed really far. (80+ ascension upgrades so far) And the roadmap that got posted is actually pretty interesting too, you should check it out.
This one though, is free.... You are complaining... why?
As for UI elements, sometimes it can feel like a ripoff, other times it's a layout that "just works". So got nothing against it about that, but as mentioned it seems to want to add just the basic things that idle slayer had with not a lot of personality except from the art style.
Also that there is no good payment option or a free vs paid one? as a mobile port that wants you to stay connected for a long time? yeee no, and with how little that happens and having to run the game is kind of a downer, could be better passive and timed content. like around challenges or daily content/rewards.
The recent roadmap says things like that will be added sooner or later I believe.
