Devs Suggestion Ability to Manpack Mortars, HMG and PKM/M60 tripod

Is there a plan to further develop the Mortar and Fixed weapons so they can be moved by infantry teams? I.E. would involve the mortar breaking down into the Tube, baseplate and bipod so they could be carried in the hand or in a specialist back packs between a squad or in the back of a vehicle. MG's would be able to be removed from the tripod and the tripod folded up to fit in a back pack. Maybe the MG from a vehicle would be able to be dismounted and have a spare tripod in the trunk to add flexibility or to continue to use the gun if the vehicle is about to be lost.

Fixed Mortar and MG positions would be able to have the mortar and MG (but not the tripod) removed from the position if this is required such as a retreat or advance. The benefit of a fortification is that they have the hard cover and would be more accurate for the reasons given next. For the Mortar The baseplate sits on prepared compacted earth in the mortar pit so doesn't have to be resighted as much as a mortar set up on regular ground. The MG nest has the tripod secured by sandbags so again has even less dispersion over long bursts than a normal tripod mount.
