It looks... kind of bad?
I came to the forums and found out it was a remaster, I don't see why this isn't listed plainly on the store page.

It's not an actual remaster, It's just remastered for a PC release.

Agreed; it looks kind of bad. I had reserved enthusiasm until I walked through the screenshots. Some times you just can't go home.

You can slap a reshade on this if you want. That's what I did to BG1

It's not a remaster it's the same job as the first one. Simple port with bare minimum technical changes to make it work on PC's. This is very old... Like what are expecting witcher 3 level of game? Lol

Agreed this is an old title and should not get your hopes up for it having high graphics as remember a pig with lipstick is still a pig.

I'll tell my ex.
It's an old old game. They will overcharge you for.

Remasters use to be a good deal, now publishers just try to exploit people.

It does look like the old PS2 Game that I remember, I think it was a pretty quick game if you know what your doing?

It is exactly the same there is no difference graphically. Only difference if you consider it a big deal is achievements other then that it's a simple port and yeah it is quick like the 1st one

yes the graphics are the same. they have added achievements which is nice is you care for that. It does however look better than ps2 version due to higher resolution. PS2 games look like crap on a 4k widescreen tv. I just tested the ps2 version and xbox series s version (just came out). Series S version looks way better. I just hope they get the bug fixed. There a crash early on in the game on xbox. and cannot progress. Hopefully doesnt happen to steam or other versions

It should be a port based on the Xbox version as it was already designed to work on Pentiums and Geforce cards, (what the Xbox had in it) etc.

It looks like the original, just at higher resolution and messed up text.

On the plus side, if it's a DX11 game, you might be able to inject RTGI. Not sure how well that would play with the baked environment shadows, but it might look a bit better.

It's literally a PS2 game. If you have no nostalgia for it (or any interest in retro gaming), then move along, it's not for you.
