it’s my bazillionth time going through this game and i still can’t go more than 10 minutes without tearing up and wanting to die this is my favourite game of all time

part 2 makes me sad, part 1 yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay yay part 1 !!! part 1 is so happy !!!!

It jumps between two big moments in her life—one where she's trying to help Joel when he's hurt, and another showing her hanging out with her best friend Riley before everything went to hell. You get to see the heart of who Ellie really is—how tough she is when she needs to be, but also just a kid trying to have fun when she can. It's short but packs a serious emotional punch
