The Last of Us Part 1 was re-built from the ground up. Specifically remade for the PS5 to take advantage of that hardware.

The Last of Us title is old, but this game just released in Sept 2022 for PS5, and than for PC in March 2023. Its nowhere near an 11 year old game.

Yeah, it's a PS3 game. This version isn't mind blowingly better than the PS4 version, and imo isn't worth the current price if you own the PS4 version unless you just absolutely love the game, or never played it before.

Its def not honest. When there is a night and day difference between this game and the PS3 version. Even better then the remastered PS4 version.

Go watch some youtube videos. Maybe make up your own mind?

The game pretty much plays exactly how it did on the ps3/ps4. For some reason when they remade it they didn't implement the dodge. I love the first TLOU but they could've done more besides just updating the character models. I know they did more than that but the characters are what you notice first. They could've made they levels bigger. They could've made new quarantine zones that the player could clear and get new items or weapons. I sense some trolling but I get why people say its an 11 year old game.

Update: I think if the game came out in a better state these issues wouldn't bother me as much. There's also a sequence they could've added from the model viewer. The scene show Ellie and Joel laughing in front of a camp fire. Even something as simple as that would been awesome. I'm happy the remake exists though.

i am actually corious and i gotta say expensive old games make me angry i study all kind of marketing stuff etc and letting something old sit at a high price is jsut plain bad you sell more copies (and make more money) if you put your older stuff on a lower price

Well, your completely missing the point that this steam version is not old. It came out last year.

Here is ps3 vs pS5 version. You can clearly see it looks way better. PS5 vs PC is almost identical. PC is a bit better quality and takes away some blur. So its sharper and cleaner.

But again. It already seems you made your own conclusion when posting this thread. Rather troll than see the facts.

Especially since you rather complain about it. If you dont like it than fine. Dont buy it or wait for a sale price. Which its on sale now or wait until its even lower. Or stop trolling and dont buy it at all and have fun with your emulator you are clearly using.

Except for the PC version, they somehow completely butchered that on launch, but as someone who had never beaten TLOU as a kid I couldn't wait to preoder the game for $40 bucks, don't regret a thing.
