The Last Of Us Part 2 PC ?

Any information on the Part 2 on PC steam? I finished Part 1 and I already want to play second part to know what happens next.

I know there is a trans there but besides that the game is great, so i heard...

I have no problem with that at all. It is the actual story that I found incredibly poor

After the mess that happened with part 1 i highly doubt they're gonna port part 2 on pc. IF it ever gets ported, it will probably follow the same vein of part 1, after netflix season 2 of tlou ends. Or well, so i guess, considering that that won't come out earlier than later 2025/2026 (so there is time to port it). Nobody knows what's gonna happen.

The only thing i hope that this time they actually put effort into it. That's the only thing im hoping for.

Naughty Dog are working on a PS5 update for Part 2, that will come out first, then the PC version. Knowing Sony they will want to tie something in with the release of the second season of the HBO show. By that time they will hopefully have learned from the Part 1 port and will do a better job with the second.........

trust me, you're better off not playing part 2.

while part 1 is about finding beauty in a post apocalyptic world, overcoming obstacles and the relationship and love between father and daughter, part 2 is about hatred, sadism and a nihilistic message that everything is meaningless because you end up losing everything by the end no matter what you do.

if you like misery porn that makes you feel like garbage by the end, go ahead if you want but i really wouldn't recommend it.

just for context: naughty dog openly lied in their promotional material about the story and roles of certain characters to deceive customers until 6 months after part 2's release when the first honest trailer was released.

I really enjoyed Part 2 on PS4. I'm really looking forward to it's eventual PC release. hopefully it'll release after the PS5 version.

they released the Part 2 Remaster for the PlayStation.
So I would guess next year in Summer maybe we see a PC Port.

Ignore people like this. All they have is misinformation and hate, and a complete misunderstanding of what Part 2 is.

To answer OP, it probably won't be coming any time soon. Best bet would be 2025, but that is a very optimistic guess. Sony has been slowly releasing their properties to PC, so all we can do is wait and see.

I think the same as you. It can also be scheduled together with the Season 2 of the HBO serie. So maybe early 2025. But I think it will be released mid to late 2024.

HBO is eyeing 2025 for season 2. They start shooting in February. So if filming takes 11 months like the first season. With 6 month post production time. You are looking at season 2 releasing sometime during the summer of 2025 at the earliest.

Hopefully SONY does not delay part 2 on PC for that long.
