besides, a 4070 works just fine in this game provided you aren't trying something dumb like playing at 4k.
4K 60 FPS with any Ray traced title I throw at it BEFORE FSR, you pathetic lot have to use DLSS3 to just get above 20FPS.
Nope, their endless whining on the forums here proves what they bought.
I literally came from an Nvidia card. As if I care about either company.
The facts are all that matter to me, and raster which wipes the 4070 class die 4080 into the dirt without FSR at 4K 60.
Most recent testing results proving some games 7900XTX runs Ray Tracing BETTER than a watered down 4080 with the 70 class die as of Apr 5, 2023 .

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheaper too ngl. Price of video cards has gotten insane. The optimisation of PC games, especially newer AAA titles is also so bad that you can have 3 times the power of a PS5 and run a game half as well.
As much as I hate to say it.
I have one, have fun with your 30FPS games at 4K.
Not me, and I'm AMD, go figure.
I'm playing Portal RTX with 8 light bounces at 4K maxed, how about you? All, while laughing at fans who know nothing but one brand, funny stuff.
I'm loving my XTX, it was supposed to come with a code for this game but Amazon doesn't seem to know anything about it.
Do not listen to the Nvidia fanboys. The card is considerably faster than a 4080 in alot of games, but not a 4090 which I am sure AMD didn't expect to compete with for $600 more.
I only have one complaint, and it's the VR performance. I've improved it with messing with the drivers but it is not perfect.
That said, people are free to choose what they want. Buying a GPU for a buggy game would be dumb whether it's AMD or Nvidia.
I have multiple PCs using both brands I use for driver development on both, I don't really understand the fanboy thing on either side...
Buy what suits you. Both have their strong and weak points in areas besides pricing.
