Any upgrades for a ps5 owner?

For those who own it on PS5 (like me) is this in any way superior? I already know that in many ways it's INFERIOR, but has there been anything about it's presentation that has actually felt stronger to you?

For example, I just finished Uncharted Legacy of Thieves collection on PC and replayed a bit on PS5 and I definitely felt like the PC version looked and ran superior, despite what outlets like Digital Foundry said about the visual parity etc.

Having both myself, the pc one feels snapper. It's hard to put into words, just everything feels tighter and more responsive. Sorta like less input lag. I feel as if I can move and que up actions faster, so much so I'm missing tons of Elle dialog moments because I find I'm just bliz'ing through it all. If you have the hardware on your pc, you will see it.

I got this game for free from my video card buy on pc, having already owned the ps5 one. Would I recommend a $70 buy if you have it on ps5? No, I would not, unless you plan on running hardcore speed runs.

Edit, yes this is at 4K max.. the visuals do look better, $70 better? I duno about that one.

I own both, in most ways they're pretty much identical, except the PS5 version doesn't melt my CPU for 20 mins after every update and the PC version can push much higher framerates.

I dont have the first one on ps5 but I do have the 2nd and my experience was much better on the ps5. I never worried about settings, fps drop, or any of that crap. The game is a hell of a lot smoother too despite me getting high fps on my gaming pc. I'll get 100 fps on the part 1 pc remake but it really feels like 50 fps. They have a lot more work to do for this port.

I have say that I regret getting the pc version as i all ready own tlou remastered which was upgraded to ps5 ver free of charge via download.
Save yourself the money & stick with ps5 tlou...maybe get it on sale 1-2 years time on pc

Depends on your hardware. 3080 gets 1440p max/DLSS quality/90-120fps. Higher quality, higher fps.

Game runs fine even on locked 60 tbh.

I’m inclined to say no, I bought TLOU pt 1 on PS5 and got it on PC with the purchase of a 6700XT. You can achieve higher frame rates on PC, that is unquestionable, assuming you have the CPU, GPU compute power, and VRAM necessary. Visual quality on ultra is ever so slightly higher fidelity than Quality mode on PS5 but it’s really not worth paying for it twice for the marginal improvement. Having said that, I am a big fan of the series and will be buying part 2 close to when it releases on PC even though they completely botched the launch and it was easily one of the worst quality AAA releases in the last 3-4 years. If you are a big fan of the series (and perhaps are a deck owner) it could possibly be worth it, I have enjoyed having the game in a portable device, that is pretty sweet.

Say what? They did not give away The Last of US Part 1 on PS5 for free to owners of the PS4 remastered version (which is just a 1080p/60 version of the original game from PS3). That’s part of why everyone was mad about the 70 price, there was no upgrade path for original owners.
