I have 32gb of RAM, but only 8gb usable!

I have been trying to figure out a way to increase the RAM usage for the last of us for about 5 days now just because I want a little bit better graphics than medium settings! I’ve don’t run set priority to high for the game and also the heap size command in the properties section. Is there any easier way to get more Ram to work?

There is DRAM, and there is VRAM. Where are you seeing that only 8GB is usable, DRAM or VRAM?

The graphics setting shows VRAM in the game, this is your Video Cards RAM, which is likely only 8GB. You will need to buy a new video card for more RAM. Exceeding 8GB will cause the frame rate to be lower.

Just to clarify, you won'pt need to buy a new video card just to play the game. Just if you don't want to be vRAM limited you'll need a new one. Just play within spec of your video card and don't exceed the vRAM in game settings.
